Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Jesus Mendez Hernandez @maxmonterroso

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! My name is Max! I´m 21 years old, I´m mexican and half brazilian, I´m designer, photographer, freelaancer and influencer, the photography start like me after a accident then I have when I was a child, I was blind three months and after of that all what I see take more relevance for me and I only want keep it and remembered for always, so I realized then the photography do that, I started with very random photos and little by little I got better, I began to receive much support and much followers, It turned out that my photos liked, My way of seeing life liked, and now I work with some brands recommending your products or services to my followers.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Found a style o define my gallery was something hard for me, but with the pass of the time I can say then take photos of the young life style, traveling, knowing and enjoying the city is my thing, I take some many portraits, urban and street photos, travel stories, and jumps ( a lot of them haha result then jump is my passion ).

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

When I started on Instagram I was very amateur so I don´t think to much in a nickname so I just put my name @maxmonterroso and well is something personal and fast to learn.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I define my self as Movilographo, I mean I only take photos with my smartphone, so I only use two apps to edit my photos and are: VSCO and Picsart. My routine on VSCO it´s simple, A6 filter, reduce the exposition, retrieve lights and done. Picsart I use when I wanna remove some thing in the photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

For my, as a traveller, fashion, and influencer there is no better instagrammer like @iamgalla

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think would be transcend that barrier and take the jump of photos to videos.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The satisfaction of my followers, The happiness they get by following my advice and buying or using what I recommend and also The gifts that the brands give me xD

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Make your products look like something natural, something that is part of everyday life, something achievable, and it is what the influencers do, show our followers that our life, what we use and enjoy is within reach.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Do not be afraid and make the content your´s.

Gifts xD haha and also grow as a influencer.
