Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Issa @Issanawawi

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I come from a small town on the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently im doing Interior Architecture as well as some Part Time modelling and opening my eyes to entrepreneurship.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly about life. Specifically mine. I believe that people can connect better when things that are shown to them are are actual real life events. It shows that we are living in a real world and not some made up fantasies where candy can bi picked from trees.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

The name Issanawawi is basically my name ‘Issa’ and mu dad’s name ‘Nawawi’ put together. He’s like my hero.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My most common editting app would be Union app, mextures app and good ol’ instagram filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The closes to home would be @ttfga , a fashion photographer and @therock. Because come on. It’s The Rock.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would say, explore union app. It can take you places. *see the one where i found ‘Smaug’ in my instagram.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Spreading good vibes and positivity to people. Because we all know that the world needs more of that.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I know it is cliche but ‘Just be yourself’ because there is nothing more original than YOU.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Try to get the best quality or the best content that you can acquire. People will appreciate it more and more importantly YOU yourself will apreciate it more.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The exposure that each brand brings when partnering with one.
