Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Francis Dominic @frncissdominc

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hey friends! My name is Francis Dominic. I am absolutely in love with the thought of taking charge of our own lives and making things happen because we not only believe in the things we do, but we believe in making them happen also. I am currently living in Los Angeles, coming from San Francisco and New York. I love adventures, I love cute things, and I love doing things that make my day feel fulfilled.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are big concert events, movies, Disney Events, food-food-food, and anything that looks fun. Theme parks are big for me because I would love to travel the world going to different theme parks but making it my own runway by being fashionable when I go to them. Speaking of fashion, clothes and accessories are my mantra. Your body is a blank canvas and the clothes you have are the colors that make your body become a painting.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It is a combination of my two first names with little amount of vowels. It was my AIM username when American Instant Messaging was still a thing. And from that, it became my username in everything.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

The app I use mainly is VSCO. I love the different filters they have and it makes it look so crisp and beautiful. It’s fun to play with and it makes my photos “POP” more.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The instagrammer I am in love with the most is Adam Gallagher (@iamGalla) because he travels all over, he dresses so well, and his Instagram is the ultimate aesthetic! He inspires me so much to live my life to the fullest and also eat my way around the world.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I just experienced Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Hollywood! If you’re in for a horror or a fun date, I would suggest this! Not only do your nightmares come true, but you’re guaranteed for an entertaining night!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part about being an influencer is working with companies that send you a bunch of goodies to promote. It also broadens your network and the brands that want you to work with them, you become passionate about it because if they believe in their work, you’ll believe it too, and all of that will just transcend onto the followers.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

For running campaigns, be honest, and look to it as if you were a consumer, would you buy your own product? I would tell them to make the best products without trying too hard to promote the product. Let the product and the influencer work together. And to maintain authenticity, make sure you’re absolutely passionate about the product you’re releasing. And when you are, that itself will transcend onto your consumers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The importance of being yourself is so huge. Everybody is so busy trying to be someone else when being yourself is so much better. Once you grasp that and believe in it, you’re setting yourself and your product up for success.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Getting to work together on something so cool and so fun. It’s also getting to experience things that others don’t and the more fun you have, the better your photos turn out.
