Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Lucrezia Del Mecio @lucreziadelmecio

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Lucrezia, I’m almost 18 and I’m Italian, I live in a small town in Tuscany, near Florence. At the moment I’m studying ancient greek and latin in my high school, I’m at the last year. I’m going to the university next year, and I’d like to study Fashion in Milan: I love it, and I also love photography.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love the fashion world, the photography one, I like food & well-eating (I’m italian!) and style. I like to post on Instagram my outfits (people are always asking for my advice) my attitudes and all the things I like the most. Basically everything that’s nice to post!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

At first my username was one of my nicknames in real life, but then I decided to change it into my whole name: this way people can easily read my name and remember me better!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I almost always take pictures with my iPhone 6 camera (rarely I shoot with my Nikon D3100) and then I modify it with VSCOcam, or sometimes with Picsart! It usually takes 10 to 15 minutes, but it’s worth it! I love my edited photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow many Fashion Bloggers like Chiara Ferragni, Chiara Nasti, Cristina Buccino or Martina Bosatelli (they’re all italians). An other girl I love the style of photos is @caro_e_ she’s beautiful!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Maybe new kind of styles, some different locations for photos or some new outfits!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like to be seen and known as someone who understands the real fashion meaning, a nice girl who likes to show herself and that can be seen as a model for style.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I would say that brands should make more collabs with raising influencers from all over the world and to start from the bottom, raising time by time. I maintain my authenticity not fulfilling my feed with collaborations, but posting something else between every publicity post. This way people won’t feel bad vibes in my account and it will just be seen as a gradient profile.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I’m always thinking that this kind of profession, the influencer, is raising always more, and if you want to be seen as someone, and not just “another”, you must show your personality, your style and your attitude, doing always the best of your opportunities. Posting everyday is necessary not to be forgotten and quality of photos is basically everything.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

At first I like that they chose ME between anybody else, they wanted ME and they believed i could do what they wanted. Then of course I like that I’m not paying for something I like and I’m always super excited to receive it and to shoot with that on (if it’s clothing).
