1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I am a wife, a mom, an entrepreneur and a content creator. I am a busy person who is very driven to achieving, exploring and reaching my full potential. I came from humble beginnings and grew up in a tiny house with a single mother supporting 6 kids. Growing up I have experienced poverty but very grateful to have had access to good education and fortunate enough to move to America at the age of 20 where I was able to discover myself and start a better life.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
I love everything beautiful and tasteful. I photograph and post almost everything that involves my married life, motherhood, cooking, food, flowers, landscapes, and everything else that inspires me. I aspire to inspire people who see my photos and feel the happiness I feel when I create each one of them.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
There are so many cool names out there and I couldn’t think of anything more clever that repeating the first 3 letters of my name. I think it’s easy to remember and it reminds me of when I was younger dreaming of becoming a designer and thought emeeme is catchy enough to be a brand.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I color all my photos on Instagram and have a good sense of how I want my photos to look and feel. But recently, I have been coloring my photos straight from my iPhone to eliminate saving my photos from Instagram to post later which duplicates the file and uses up more storage on my phone.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
There are TONS!! Pretty much everyone I follow that are into foodie stuff, creating things, photography, motherhood, etc. what I love about Instagram is it opened an avenue for creativity and self expression. It personally freed me and empowered me to express my creativity that I wouldn’t have been able to do any other way.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Try honest beauty products
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
My favorite part is being able to influence and inspire others of things that I love, like, obsessed about, things I create and things that make me happy. If I can inspire others to feel happy, that makes it all worth it!!
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
I think social media campaigns are very helpful but very costly so making sure the campaign speaks to people about the main goal of the brand is important. I have studied Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ads and Facebook is still the most effective way.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
I think it is really important to have quality in mind when it comes to promoting a brand. Consistency in quality is also what makes brand not only last longer but also build a bigger audience.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Aside from free stuff, I like that I get to support brands that I like and have a good purpose.
