Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Darwin Velasco @win_wolf

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi! I’m Darwin Velasco popularly known as win_wolf in musical. ly! A Filipino Musical.ly Representative and a verified muser with 361k Fans on the app. I’m a Fine arts and design Major in Advertising Graduate at University of Santo Tomas. As of now im livin in New zealand to find my calling in films and other opportunities.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post lots of things, I restarted my instagram feed couple of times, but most of my posts are about my travels, food, selfies, and musical.ly videos ofcourse!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I’m a huge fan of SCI fi movies and series, it’s kinda cheesy where the wolf word came from, there’s this tv show that made a huge impact to me cause it basically reflect the kind of person I am. 🙂 that’s what the wolf came from and obviously win comes from my name Darwin:)

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Oh, I’ve downloaded couple of editing apps on my phone, but in the end, I am completely satisfied with this one app and I know lots of people know this app its Vsco.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love how clean @connorfranta and @alexlange feeds are, #GOALS. The concept, the idea, the structure and uniformity of the pictures and at the same time they’re showing their real moments in their feeds.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Any pictures, blurred or not, posed or stolen as long you have a good app filter that could work. Just don’t filter the memories cause that’s GOLD!.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is how I magically inspire and touch people’s lives by posting videos and pictures on my social media. It feels amazing to save people from depression cause of your live broadcast, give them strength just because they know you support them, making them feel better and laugh just because I posted funny videos, and most of all give them hope to not give up on their dream.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Observe and experiment, in this generation, things get crazy, trends are crazy, one time its planking, then next thing dropping a condom with water on their head. It’s a crazy world but once you know how to cope up with this generation and connect it to your brand. Then you’re good to go!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

You are already unique, original idea is rare to pass by especially now hashtags are trending in our generation creativity is the key, twist some concepts make something new and next thing you know you’re viral.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I partnered with a couple of apps before and the thing that I love the most is getting to know people and make friends and learn how the system works and also learning about the business side of social media.
