Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Cody Axthelm @codyaxthelm

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m currently living on a ranch out in the middle of nowhere! We drive two hours to get our groceries!
I manage our youtube channel called Axe Family and our instagram account @AxeFam. I’ve been a photographer since high school and @CodyAxthelm on instagram is primarily my photography work and AxeFam is more about my family!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Nature photos – mostly involving landscape

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s just my name, nothing fancy!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I mostly edit on my computer with Photoshop. I try to have my photos finished when they upload to Instagram.
If anything I make little adjustments with Instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@Nicholasgraves is a good friend.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’m getting more into videography and enjoying the challenge. I’d say challenge yourself with something new.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Creativity coming alive!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

There is strength in being subtle.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just be yourself and be the best that you can be.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Besides the compensation and free products, being able to share products that I’m passionate about.
