Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Carly Feldman @Thecharmedpalate

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m currently traveling Southeast Asia and will continue to Australia until August. I am from the states, but am somewhat of a nomad!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Though I have many interests and hobbies my posts are all centered around food and travel!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I actually created my account as a food account – hence the name “palate.” I’m not really too sure about where the word charmed came in, but it had a ring to it and it just kind of stuck!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Snap seed is my ultimate life saver! I also use VSco for most photos and a little finishing off with Instagrams editing tools.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Too many to name!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

HASHTAGS!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Meeting people, learning new things about the world, travel and food!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Stay relevant! Don’t try too hard, be easy and fun to work with. Make influencers WANT to work with you and work with you again in the future. It should be fun and enjoyable for them.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

SO important. Not only does it result in beautiful photos, but it completely corresponds with engagement and even new followers. Sometimes I’ll post one really good photo and get 5-10 new followers just from that one photo!!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Trying new things!!
