I’m the Editor of a popular Sydney Lifestyle blog www.sydneychic.com.au and a Social Media Marketer.

Previously I owned a professional speaking bureau and recruitment business.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’d like to see those people who are buying followers and likes to stop this practice right now! Brands need to do their due diligence more.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Interacting with my followers. My influence is spread over a number of platforms ie. my blog 12K per month, Twitter 17K, Facebook 3K and LinkedIn 3K + Instagram 6K

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It must be a fit with the influencer
Do your due diligence check out the following and see if they are an authentic following – it’s easy to tell
Don’t dictate what the influencer should do
Work with the influencer

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The more authentic and creative you are the more followers you will get. I always try and show my personality in my instagram posts with what I write, it’s not just about the picture.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being creative and helping them spread their message that doesn’t look like blatant advertising. I’m not shy about mentioning I’m reviewing, or I was paid or gifted. It’s better to be honest.
