Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ellie @Petiteelliee

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Ellie and right now I am a college student in Britain. I have been working a lot on my blog recently and an am aspiring to become a full timer blogger.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love doing makeup and fashion posts. I’ve been working a lot harder on fashion posts because that’s something I want to delve into a lot more. I post mainly Flatlays and makeup posts on Instagram but I want to post more fashion pieces.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

To be honest, it just came about because I am a petite girl and my name is Ellie. Simple!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

If I need to make the picture whiter, I use airdrop. But other than that I use photo wonder. I sharpen the photo a little, then smooth the background and any dirt. Then I add the ‘natural feature’ and voila!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Don’t really understand the question… If it’s a product, than I would say it’s the Charlotte Tilbury wonder foundation. If it’s a fashion piece, then jazzy pants are my go to. If it’s an app, then it’s photo wonder or later to be able to schedule posts. If it’s food… NUTELLA! I’m obsessed

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I just love the interaction with my followers. They seem to look up to me and it gives me such a warm feeling when people say nice things or tell me I’ve inspired them. I’m always told that I’m ‘one of the few influencers who take time to reply to my followers’ but that’s because I love them so much!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I love it when brands take a little time to get to know me before they approach me. It makes me a lot more keen to work with them and means that I will leave a nicer review or just be a lot more enthusiastic to work with them. I also love good communication. The worst thing is when they don’t quickly reply to emails!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always disclaiming when posts are sponsored. Always ensuing that you write legitimate content and never lying about how you feel about the product or company. Having a good relationship with the brand is so important for creating original content.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the relationship you build with them and I love how we can work together to target a larger a audience and promote a great product.
