Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Biljana @bilja_v

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I come from Montenegro. Most of my pictures are taken in Montenegro. We are working on changing that. I must say that Bilja V. (bilja_v) is more of a team than a singularity – team of people positive, creative and driven people. When we take pictures it all so simple. On the other side when I start writing text gets some kind of a philosophical note. So I will stick to photography and modelling (if that is what it is called 🙂

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Most of our pictures (not to say all) are about the nature, travels, and activities when traveling. To be more precise they are about the staff I believe in, myself, my people, nature, traveling and style. Mix that up with great food and great music and there you have it… the meaning of life 🙂

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is about me. I have started that story and then in some moment I realized that people actually like my photos. So It became clear that pictures decided on a name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Haven’t used much apps when working on a picture. In my opinion, when you decide on a concept, in this case natural, you shouldn’t make you the picture pop up from it’s real surroundings or theme. So adjusting the brightness and structure in Instagram basically does it for me.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like Tuula Vintage. Her pictures are amazing.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Fellow Instagrammers should all try spending as mush days they can outside their routine.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

that in some point people are going to hear what I am saying. That they will get up, go to the park, sit on a bench, put everything off, feel the breeze and just relax. That they won’t take out their phone after the work and sit in front of a TV instead they will take a walk with their best friend along the city. And most of they will hear me say that they should never give up chasing their dream (I know it a cliche, but we tend to forget what is really important).

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

That in every decision they should stick to the idea they represent. That is the best advice I got. That is also why Bilja V. will stay authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

The only way to succeed is to do what you love, to be original and to give yourself in. As for the quality, it is the only thing that will overcome the time.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Best thing is that you make friends.
