Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Asia @floralsandspices

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Asia Fuller. I’m from Lexington, Kentucky home of the Kentucky Wildcats! I’m a new mother (just a little under a month), full-time student and full-time employee at AAA. I love working out, thrifting, crafting, cooking and spending time with my wonderful little family. I run a lifestyle blog at floralsandspices.com.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Right now my topic of interest mostly revolves around my child. I just had my baby girl Isabelle at the end of August and I’m documenting her growth and development as well as my transition into post-partum life. I’m hoping to showcase my number one belief, even with a baby you can have it all.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram handle comes from my lifestyle blog at floralsandspices.com. I just really liked the sound of the words strung together and it really incorporates everything I am. I like really feminine and girly things like flowers and perfumes but I also like the warmth that spices brings to everything as well as the uniqueness.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I am challenging myself to use a similar style with almost all of my pictures. I use two programs to edit my pictures Afterlight and Vscocam. With Afterlight, I usually just brighten the pictures or increase the clarity. With Vscocam I specifically use the filter T1 every time. I like the vintage-y feel that it adds to my pictures and I like my pictures having similar qualities.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favorite instagrammers are @bahlbabies, @helloemelie, and @swaglen. I love @bahlbabies’ instagram because she is a brand representative for a lot of brands, incorporated her children and has really found a way to monetize her instagram while maintaining a level of authenticity and style. I love @helloemelie because she posts consistency and posts high-quality and creative pictures. I love @swaglen because her instagram is all about style without being overtly flashy.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

If you’re not already synced up with your Facebook and other social media accounts you’ve got to do it. It’s great in regards to gaining a consistent following with people who really care about your images.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love getting to reach out to brands and getting to experience new products.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Reach out to brands you believe in. If you weren’t gaining anything would you still endorse this product? I incorporate my brand reps into my every day life and things I would more than likely already be posting about.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s what sets you apart from other Instagrams. Sometimes, profiles can all run together so I definitely think its important to come up with your own ideas and embrace them. Otherwise, you’ll just be like every other profile.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love getting to experience new products. I love building a relationship with these brands. And I genuinely love exposing my followers to new things.
