Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Anduka Enkhtur @andukae

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a free spirited, medical student from Mongolia – the land with the neverending blue sky. I also work as an photo model which was a great hobby from my sometimes stressful life as an medical student.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m a passionated fashion and beauty lover who loves all things sparkly and unicorns, but keeps her wardrobe very minimal and classy, but with a little splash of mystery.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s my nickname, that almost became my real name. Even people who know me personally and are dear to my dear call me Anduka. It stands out.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Good lighting is very important! If you have good lighting, half of the work is already done. And I’m very OCD about the picture being symmetrical and having anything useless in the back. Clean looking is my choice! My favorite editing app is VSCOCAM. I edit all my photos with this, but only use 1-2 changes. Too much editing ruins the photo in my opinion.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like artsy, minimal, aesthetic accounts and they change from time to time.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Break out from the “usual” boring “blogger” pictures you see everywhere. Take a little time browsing and getting inspiration. I’m just so tired of the same old stuff.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Discovering new styles, meeting new people who work behind the scenes and getting out of my comfort zone. I used to be a all-black-from-head-to-toe, Instagram gave me the chance to open my mind.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t only reach out to the people who have the biggest following, but ZERO creativity or fresh appeal. People who have a much smaller following, can be as influential as the other ones, maybe even more.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Originality is the key to success and quality is the gold key chain hanging from it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Meeting the people who work so hard to fullfill their dream. Working in the fashion industry is not easy, especially since there are so many independent brands. I’ve met the most sweetest, yet hard working people while promoting. Knowing that makes taking pictures and working together so much easier.
