Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ali Özdaş @ali.ozdas

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, i come from İstanbul, Turkey. Currently i live in there buy travel around Turkey constantly. Working on my novels and continuing on my photography works. I am a sailor since i was a child, and hope that soon (like in 3-4 years) will begin to travel the world with my own boat until i die. I also own a company in Turkey which is the distributor of Raymarine brand which is the world leader in marine electronics. I have a novel which is published last year in Turkey.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I mostly post Nature and Landscape photographs. But my portfolio includes, portraits, sailing, animals, food&beverages and lifestyle photographs.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name is my actual name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

After the iphones emerged, i mostly use instagram editor. But for my photography works, i firstly use Adobe Lightroom for first impressions on my RAW materials. If the outcome of Lightroom is good enough i stop right over there. If not, i use photoshop all from the beginning.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Berty Mandagie, Manuel Thomas, Benjamin Everett are some o the examples.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

A photography journey through sunrise and sunset on a boat.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My colourful lenses and my free spirit makes most of my shots delightful. The places i have been and the thing i have seen through my lenses makes the most of it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I always chase the best moment, the best shot and the best theme for my shots. I am always learning new techniques and trying to improve my work.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Uniqueness brings both quality and original content with it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Shooting for a single aim in order to make the most beautiful, most energetic and at the same time shooting the impossible in an mutual standing ground makes it the perfect working place.
