Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Anna @anna.maximovitch

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a full time student, about to finish up my undergraduate degree in Communication. I am also a lifestyle blogger who loves fashion, food, photography, writing, and decor. In addition to school and hobbies, I also nanny for two adorable children. I love to keep busy and get the most out of my day. “Work hard and do the best you can, its all you can do” is my motto and inspiration for everyday life.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My Instagram page features coffee, decor, fashion, more coffee, loved ones, and travels. I love to have a well rounded page that reflects my interests, as well as the things and people that mean the most to me. Having a beautiful and carefully organized Instagram feed is a hobby of mine (maybe an obsession at this point, let’s be real). I am interested in adding more fashion, food, and fitness posts to present to my Instagram audience.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is simply my first and last name. My last name is unique, and I wanted to be able to use that to my advantage. It is my goal to create a strong brand for myself that I can strengthen through my blog and social media presence.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Simplicity is what I shoot for. I aim for shooting my photographs in great lighting as a starter. There just aren’t always edits that can fix horrible lighting. I do not heavily alter my photos. I use VSCO, PS Express, or sometimes just the Instagram app to fix lighting, saturation, and things like that. I’ve been a huge fan lately of adding the “Claredon” filter on Instagram to some of my photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Where do I even begin?! The blogger community on Instagram is HUGE and thankfully so, as I am always inspired by new people. A few of my favorites are:
@lifetolauren
@laurenkaysims
@alexajeanbrown
@inmyblondelife

Each of these women inspire me in different ways. But each and every one is a lady boss who has successfully created and sold their personal brand through fashion, fitness, or both. I aspire to grow my brand in the ways these ladies have grown theirs.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Over the knee boots!! I, myself, am dying to find the perfect pair. They are so in trend right now, and I definitely foresee them staying around a while. That, and painting pumpkins instead of carving! Less mess, cute outcome.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love being able to be a positive influence to my followers. I try to always maintain a positive image and attitude. I also love knowing that something I wrote or shared ended up helping someone in some way. Not to mention, it’s just fun. It’s fun to be able to share ideas with others who value the same things. The world of Instagram is ever-growing and ever-changing and getting to grow with it and with my followers is very rewarding.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I know that I am personally less likely to buy something or do something if it is blatantly obvious that the person doing the ad, is doing an ad. I also know that people like me feel the same way about this. Allowing influencers to come up with their own captions and photos for your brand or product (with guidelines, of course), will help to eliminate this unwanted stigma towards your ad.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is EVERYTHING. Brands want to be best represented, and so do influencers. On my side of things, I want to be able to post relevant and quality content for my followers and readers. I also want to be able to fulfil my role as an influencer for a brand by providing original and honest advertisements or promotions.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The relationship between brand and influencer is symbiotic. We need each other to accomplish our own separate goals. Working together makes my content stronger, and gives them more exposure. Beneficial partnerships are invaluable to progress and success.
