|• Layer of Scallop & Potato: Figs, maple bacon wrapped carrot, carrot syrup, pearl onion, semi dried-tomato and shaved foie gras•| • • • Scalloped potatoes are a lovely side dish to the Sunday roast beef or just served up weeklunches as an accompaniment to a platter of grilled bacon or foie gras. One of my favorite side dishes to serve when entertaining for lunch. |• Crab Bisque: crab gratin, celeriac wrapped dumpling and crispy yam•| • • • Rich and delicious crab bisque😋. The crab meat is my absolute favorite type of seafood. I love the flavor and how delicate it is. The execution of this loving along with those succulent lumps of crab meat, guarantees groans of pleasure at the Christmas table. The intensely crabby finishing touch definitely will delight veteran crustacean eaters. |• Anyone is looking forward to the the grand Christmas holiday season yet? With just short of 2 months down the road, it’s about time to start looking and plan ahead. I attended Mandarin Orchard Singapore’s pre-Christmas media party few days ago. It felt weird to be celebrating so early. But the festive atmosphere was densely immersive in the ballroom and it only took me a few steps into the ballroom to be totally absorbed in it.
