Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Zuz @darken_vision

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello lovely people, I’m Zuz. Redhead, left handed 26 year old photographer currently hanging and being creative in SoCal. I’m a European native, born and raised in Warsaw, Poland who moved to California to study photography. Now, I’m currently out of school, trying to work my way out there in photo industry.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

People. People are my interest. I love photographing women especially. Moody, darker, contrasty are usually my main traits. I have one instagram account for portraits and fashion (@darken_vision) and one for weddings and couples (@soulandveil)

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

@darken_vision just sort of created itself based on my images being well dark. If it goes for my other account @soulandveil, it happened by combining two things that I connect with weddings.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Vsco for life. Haha I love this app, I have probably all the presets already, constantly playing with them on my phone. I always level my image, adjust brightenst and contrast and then experiment!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Hashtags. Share your images with multiple groups, allow more people to see your work!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Being able to raise my voice, being exposed to larder group of individuals, where I can share my experiences, my good choices and mistakes.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality over quantity – ALWAYS. I see tons of images on instagram ever day and the quality ones make me stop and look closely. The style, originality, mood, lighting, pose, everything matters!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love collaborations with other brands or individuals, because every time you create something new, you comibine your forces with others creating original content and you discover new possibilities making new connections.
