Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Zid @mr.zfantasy

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Working as a pharmacist in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Although as a pharmacist, I have food and beverage background as I started off working in cafes and hotels as barista and food tastemaker.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Interested in food, coffee and travel. Recently found interest in fashion and socializing among influencers to get to know what’s trendy. Usually post coffees, food, and anything that caught my eyes.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name came about due to my f&b background as I usually do food tasting and cafe invites.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually edit my pictures using phone apps namely aviary and snapseed. Sometimes I do final touch ups using the editor in Instagram itself.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are few instagrammers whom I really like namely Venice Min of Malaysia, Xenia Van Der Woodsen from Germany, Adam Gallagher from New York and Gerald Png from Singapore. But from these few, Venice Min inspires me the most.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Do not be afraid of messing up the feeds in Instagram. Just take and post the pictures that caught your eye and that you feel like sharing to other people.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I get to meet new friends, trying out new things and best of all is the experience I gain.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Making a full blast in Instagram via help from influecers without limiting to only few influecers. Each influecer has their own network. Every now and then doing a small gathering to members and influencers to mingle around.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality of the image would not be the main subject but spreading the correct news and to fellow instagrammers are utmost importance.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I get to try first hand on what’s gonna be launched by that particular brand, and working along with the marketing team to make things better are all the best experience I can get.
