1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Alanah and I’m 17. I’m from a tiny rural town in NSW and I am makeup obsessed.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My Instagram account is dedicated to makeup and beauty. I love trying new products and creating new looks

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It took me a while to come up with a name but I ended up choosing allybeauty99 because my childhood nickname was allykat, my account was to be beauty related and I was born in 1999

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

For my flatly product photos I use airbrush to whiten the background then just use Instagram to adjust the colour and lighting if needed

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I love the photos by Dani Mansutti, shaaanxo and also my friend Michelle

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love sharing my passion with others and the positivity in the beauty community

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

One thing that drives me nuts in makeup brands that show a mascara in the add but the model is wearing false lashes, because this doesn’t give the viewer an accurate visual of Te product

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality makes the photo more aesthetically pleasing and original content will make you unique and people will want to follow

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I haven’t really partnered with any brands yet but I think it would be so much fun
