Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Yuriko Uchida @yurikomonogatari

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am YURIKO, born in Indonesia and living in Japan. My background is broadcasting journalist in entertainment, beauty and healthy section. Now since moving in Japan currently active as a digital creator and culture exchange on my international association.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

On my instagram I sharing about my daily life in Japan with my interest topics such us beauty, lifestyle and some times traveling. I also make another account for my foodie journey since Instagram so strict with niche on @nomnomyuriko.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Yuriko Monogatari mean The Story of Yuriko, picked from my real Japanese name Yuriko. My Indonesia name also not so far different, so prefer to called with my Japanese official name on social media platforms. On my Instagram also another platform talked my story in many way with short story in Instagram, story telling in blog, vlog my travel in my YouTube, so my audience can still connected with me in many variations.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I’m using Lightrooms and create my own filter.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@riasukmawijaya, she inspired me to life more productive and keep in touch with audience. Make our followers like our friends, not distance and humble. Our background is almost same from TV Industry so I enjoy her contents so much.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

If we have any message to speak up, our voice easy to hear to another person. I can get new friends from social media with similar interest and difference backgrounds. Also I can sharing new things before another person tried it.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

Its a good plarforms to connect with correct brand with our interest

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

If the brand have a campaign choose the roght influencers that really represent your brand with good backghround not only the virality. Also choose from their creativity how to represent your brand not only from ER because some of lack Instagram case. Give the timeline not so tight with good dealing instead of freebies. As a true creator also we spend our time and need to make concept.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be YOU. I’ve got many of Influencers just copy paste the concept not inovative make authentic creation.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

They let me to make my content with my own style and my own timeline. I can said picky to picked some PR or even paid offering, since I am not accepting products I do not like or believe in.
