1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Yasia. I am born and raised in Ukraine. Moved to Colorado 3 years ago, and to Chicago a year ago. I am very fun, outgoing, and goal oriented. I work full time for a Development company and also take few classes in school. When I have free time a typically go to different fashion events, galleries, etc. Also, I love going on adventures with my friends and making memories.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Food and Beverage industry is of my passions, so you will see me post a lot of pictures of me going out to all kinds of restaurants, bars, rooftops. The other topic would be traveling or just going to events. Basically, my social media shows what I do on daily basis. I like it to be very personalized and showing more of my personality instead of just pretty photos.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

One day I woke up and realized that having my last name on my social media might not be the best idea, and I couldnt not think of anything to associate my account with, since my interests change all the time. So I thought “ms_yasia” would be ideal and kind of catchy.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO is the only app I use. Usually on my phone on my way from one job to another. LOL

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@sonyaesman is literally the reason why I check my Instagram. I started following her back when I still lived in Ukraine (middle school), I used to watch the videos on her Russian channel every single day, then I switched it up to her English channel and that helped me a lot to learn the language before moving to U.S. She is EVERYTHING… fashion related, beauty, etc. She is just a beautiful human being and I love following her journey.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Traveling by yourself. Just buy a ticket to some country you’ve never been to before. Hop on the plane and go, with no plan, no company… ALL BY YOURSELF. That will allow you to explore and learn the culture really well and connect with people and make new friends. I believe everyone should travel on their own at least once in there life. It might sounds scary, but well worth it.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Connecting with some cool creatives is definitely the reason why I do what I do. I meet so many incredible people through my social media, it is MIND BLOWING! In one year living in Chicago I met more people than I have in my entire life, and many of them became really good friends.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always always look for some cool and fun ambassadors with a LOT of personality to do collabs with. Someone passionate, someone who will make your brand look good and genuinely represent it in a long term.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just keep it fresh. Keep it coming. Every single day, or every other day give your audience something new, something to talk about. Make it exciting!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I just love trying out new products and sharing it with my audience. As well getting some exposure for the brand and myself.
