Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Yann Lee @Ohhyann

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Singaporean, tho a lot of people always mistook me as non local. I’m currently working freelance and studying my degree. I love taking selfies, animals and playing Bowling ?

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interest is make-up, selfies, fashion and beauty. I’m really self-obsessed so I’m always posting pictures of myself ?

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I had a blog when I was secondary 1. And my website was ohhyann, no idea how I came up with that name but ohwells, I’m using it till now ?

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I always use Pitu for sure! So fascinating how I can go out without makeup and take a selfie yet look Super glam after editing. Another app I would recommend for girls is makeup plus. You will be amaze if you haven’t tried it before! I’m not so much a filter person, I usually just use Instagram filters.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are so many instagrammers now that always seem to have such an exciting lifestyle. Always inspired by those instagrammers that post Super nice OOTD shots cause I always can’t seem to have the patience to do it under the Hot sun ?

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Coffee shop hopping ???  I love local delicacy. Instead of cafe hopping, coffee shop hopping is super satisfying.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I loveeeee to share good stuff with people (provided that I really think it’s good) and being able to influence people, be it fashion, beauty, or anything else, that thought makes me happy ?

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I’ll stick to my interest, only take up campaigns that interest me. Stay true with your comments, if it doesn’t work the way the Brands say then politely let them know that it isn’t suitable~

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality is definitely really important to me. However, you also have to consider the fact for the quality that you would pay for. Having a original content definitely will make you stand out and attract more people.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

To be able to work together and I’ll be glad to share Brands that are worth to be shared with.
