Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Xolani Mngomezulu @its.odditri

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a Street Photographer, Illustrator and a Creative Director from South Africa, Johannesburg.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics mostly focus on everyday people that I come across on a daily basis, My photography is completely inspired my Street Fashion and Street Individuals who are creative. And also my Illustrations are inspired by the beauty and other creatives that inspire me.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Odditri is a name that I gave myself which a combination of two words that is “Odd” cause I see myself as a Odd being and to be number in everything you do you have to be Odd (odd numbers). The second combined word is “Trill” which a street slang that means true and real.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use a PC software called Photoshop.
To edit everything properly I make sure I take my images in a raw-format from a DSLR camera then import every image to Photography the use an image settings that will automatically pop up.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My instagram is inspired by David Tshabalala – @Slaying.Goliath

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

To use hashtags in each and every post as it makes one your post and account more visible to the rest of the world.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favourite is to inspire other Instagrammers/Youth to express themselves creatively

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

– To be original by all means
– Only publish eye catching and fun content
– Post at least once a day

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

– To use experienced photographers, graphic designers, editors etc.
– Be involved at least in every creative process

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

– Gaining experience
– Challenging myself creatively
