Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Natália @leiolivros

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m from Brazil and currently in college, studying something called “Cultural Production”, which is really hard to explain, but basically is learning how to interact, manage and produce culture with the tools I have in my country (or wherever I am).

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

On Instagram I’m all about books. I love reading and one day thought “why not share what I think about these books with other people?”, I’ve tried blogs and other things but nothing suited me better than “Bookstagram”, it’s wonderful! I had no idea so many people were involved in that!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s really self-explanatory, really. Translating to english it is literally “I read books”

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually use VSCO, because it’s really simple and has some cool filters, though I don’t always use them, just adjust some things like clarity or add a little “fade”.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

In the bookstagram world I really look up to @taylorreads, her collection of books is just jaw dropping! Some brazilian bookstagrammers I really like are @queriaseralice and @colorindodevaneios

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

If they haven’t already, try taking part in one of the challenges people are always throwing! It’s fun and takes you out of your photo comfort zone.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I don’t think of myself as an influencer as much as a friend, I talk to people on IG as I would like them to talk to me and love to just debate about books, what are my thoughts on this and that and give suggestions on books I loved. I really like the interaction!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Authenticity for me is just being myself! Be clever and funny, but never force being something you’re not, that’s how you get people’s attention.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s the most important thing! Inspiration is always ok (and an honour), but don’t cross that line, think of something that suits your style and go for it.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The possibility to be a spokesperson for something that I truly like and spread the word on it so other can enjoy too.
