1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello, my name is Vanessa Berlin, Image & Fashion Consultant based in la Jolla, CA. with a blog called The Fashion Statement. Wherever I go I find inspiration for my own style, which leads to great tips and experiences to share with my clients and followers.

As for my own style I am a city girl and always love to add that chic touch in every outfit I wear. I enjoy mixing and matching colors and patterns to make my look stylish and fun.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, health, fitness, style tips, travel…etcetera!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Vanessa Berlin. Vane is short from Vanessa. VANÉ BERLIN is the name of my Image and Fashion Consulting Company.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I normally work with a professional photographer for the collaboration content, so I try not to edit the pictures. If I will post a picture that I took with my Iphone I like to use aviary to edit the picture if needed.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Chiara Ferragni, Kristina Bazan to name some.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Avoid editing or adding to many filters to your original photos, sometimes they could change the essence of the image. And I definetely recommend to try The App, Boomerang. It’s so cool!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love my job, it is my passion. As an Image and Fashion Consultant, my greatest achievement is helping women discover their strength and maximize their impact so they succeed no matter what they do.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

They should take a look at the quality of the content and the engagment the influencer normally has with their followers. I love to post according to my style, which I can define in 3 simple words: clean, elegant and feminine.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Nowadays Social media market is saturated, so as an influencer you need to be authentic and not a copy of someone else. I mean it’s good to use your creativity and always show quality content to catch and maintain the attention of your followers.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

As an Image and Fashion Consultant I work with several clients from the States and Mexico City, where Fashion Industry is huge. So I love sharing with them new options to enhance their look or simply make them feel better. I’m always on the loop for new options to try. My blog has a very good amount of readers and I like sharing with them nice products, quality items.
