Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Qreche’ Fields @beautywithqre

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Qreche’ Fields and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Richmond, VA. I have a passion for beauty and art because I can express my creativity. As of right now I am pushing myself beyond my comfort zone to expand my artistry.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interest are Make-up, hairstyles, and art. I mostly post about make-up and art because that is what I am most passionate about.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

When I was in cosmetology school I started a separate page for my artistry. I named it “QrecheCoiffure” which is my name and coiffure which means “hair” in French. After I graduated Cosmetology school I realized I had to change it because my page wouldn’t just be focused on hair but all aspects of beauty and that’s how “beautywithqre” came about. And Qre is my nickname short for Qreche’.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My favorite app to edit on is Facetune. I love how easy it is to use and how it can really transform your pictures. I don’t own a professional camera at the moment so my smartphone really comes in handy. I use the rear camera with the flash in natural lighting and when I have my desired photo I open the Facetune app to edit then I used Pic Lab to add my watermark. I love PicLab because they have a lot of cool fonts and features which adds a nice touch to my photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I favor a lot of instagrammers. To name a few I love Mannymua, Patrickstarrr, it’s my raye raye, nikkietutorials, jaclynhill, and Carli Bybel. I must say Jaclyn Hill inspires me the most. Hearing her story is the true definition of “started from the bottom now we are here.” Hearing her struggles in life and seeing where she Is today having a Collaboration with such a phenomenal brand such a Becca cosmetics is truly inspiring. It just makes me want to persevere until I reach my own goals. She is awesome.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I’ve been pretty obsessed with “eye art” lately. Which is creating eyeshadow looks on the back of your hand, arm, or leg. I think it’s a cool way of really getting creative and also practicing blending techniques you can later apply to your eyes. I recommend any and all beauty instagrammers to try it and it’s lots of fun.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being and influencer is the support I get from people I don’t know personally. It’s a really good feeling to have people appreciate your artistry and who can relate to it. I also love giving advice to people helping others is a great feeling.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I think it’s important to watermark your material. It’s nothing worst than someone else taking credit for your hard work and creativity.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I think it is essential to try to make your photos look as good as possible. Not everyone can afford a high quality grade A camera but I think it’s important to make them look as best as you can because that is what people gravitate to. At the end of the day you should be proud of your work so post your best work.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I haven’t had the pleasure to partner with a brand just yet but it’s something I would absolutely love to do.
