Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Valentina @_avalentina

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Valentina, I was born in Moscow, Russia but grew up in Dubai, UAE and currently live in between Dubai, Moscow and London. I am an entrepreneur and run many different business projects in a variety of fields, trying out everything that interests me. I also do modelling and freelancing for creative concepts and arts. In my free time I love to draw @watermelon.dreams and make cute dolls 🙂

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love fashion, travelling, art, animals and everything creative! I post photos of my daily life focusing on creativity and quality as I enjoy coming up with photos from interesting angles, poses, places and colours. I have a very colourful feed with photos of myself and occasional abstract photos.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I use my name and add an ‘a,’ so its aValentina 🙂

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t actually use photo-editing apps, I do use selfie camera apps such as BeautyCam to enhance the pictures right away which is very convenient. I also use Photoshop for detailed editing, but I like taking perfect pictures from the start rather than editing them later so I spend much more time on this rather than editing.

Creativity! Try something different 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love inspiring people, adding colour to their feeds, showing them the importance of loving animals and showing them amazing places from my travels and locally.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands need to be highly creative with their own accounts and when they give an item to a blogger the blogger needs to implement it in her own style to keep it authentic.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It is much more important to post quality over quantity… keep your pictures in the same style but make all of them different. I find inspiration from abstract art and art galleries.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like the opportunity to create a unique photo using the brand in a settle way to make it interesting for my followers.
