1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
settling into life in my fifties with a son, Benjamin finishing university in New Zealand, enjoying life on the beautiful warm eastcoast of Tasmania, Australia.
I returned from 20 years overseas in 2009, shooting along the way around the world and back, originally shooting on 35mm colour print film, then moving onto 35mm monochrome and 35mm transparency. First digital experience was 2007.
Originally from Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Currently working as a freelance photographer (mainly live music and events) and Deckhand/Guide on Wineglass Bay Cruises, Coles Bay, Tasmania.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Live Music. Independent Artsists. Eastern Cultures (Buddhism, Dzogchen, Tao). Tibetan Culture.
Instagram posts are mostly daily highlights, introducing my last 20 years of work along the way, working on the sea I’ve also started doing more moving footage of dolphins, whales etc, as well as music events.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
bodhi images was (officially) born in 2009, mostly from my Buddhist leanings, and the fact that Tim Buckley is also a photographer from Boise, Idaho, USA with timbuckleyphotography.com .net etc domains registered.
I have since met with two ‘other’ Tim Buckley photographers…
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I don’t generally edit, prefering to capture in camera – there’s not enough hours in the day to be a processor as well, having said that I’II edit in camera on iPhone6, or Instagram sometimes, but that’s it. I don’t use photoshop, layers etc, as I’ve never learned.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
Meditation. Feijoas.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
Having people find me on the internet, and cold call.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
Stay up to date, but be flexible as markets change so quickly now with financial markets ever-changing. Remain authentic to your brand, name, market, and ideas.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Look for a difference, a different angle, different time of day, and plan the time of day and year to obtain best results.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
Focussed and well planned itineries and briefs, long term marketing plans.
