1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
I’m currently an air stewardess, taking a gap year and trying to travel as much as possible before going back to the real world. I’m from Singapore!
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Travel, food, and maybe a little bit of fashion. I also like to (try) taking artistic shots – framing is key! I mostly post food and places I go to while traveling, and the occasional selfie of course.
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
I don’t actually know either… I just remember creating it in secondary school and wanting something that started with the same letter as my name and poof tippytoe just popped into my head. It was taken though hence the underscore.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I am a huge fan of VSCO, because it’s so thorough! And you can edit everything, saturation, temperature, exposure. It helps a lot when you have a nice photo but the lighting or colour was off, and it gives an extra oomph!
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
I actually don’t have a particular instagrammer that I’m a huge fan of, but I love looking at pinot’s work it’s so beautiful and magical to see.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
I’m addicted to Boomerang and Phhoto now, they’re so cute! It’s like you can make your own mini (sort of) GIF of anything!
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
I get to tell people about what I love.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
I think sometimes brands focus more on which influencer is the most popular rather than which influencer can best represent their brand. For example, when I went to Seoul I saw so many advertisements of Soong Joong Ki selling ladies’ make up, which is totally irrelevant.
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
I try to look at my photos from an outsider’s point of view, and if all else fails I’ll send it to a couple of close friends for feedback.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I get a first hand experience about what they’re hoping to achieve with their product.
