1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Tarik, 37yo, I’m Algerian, I grew up in Africa (moving from Ivory Coast to Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia). Spent one year in college in the US in CSULB (Long Beach) before starting my life in Paris where I’ve lived for 19y now…

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post quite everything that catch my eye! The most important thing is that the picture that I post must make me happy or intrigue me.. I suppose it would be the same for the viewer! My instagram is there to give pleasure and I hope to do the same for my followers.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I use to blog hard ten years ago, it’s a derivation of my old blogger name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like to post raw picture… “true” ones. When I use something it’s mostly lightroom, photoshop, or iPhoto for simple changes.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

All the instagrammers that I follow got something special that make me follow them. I never follow just to follow.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try not to take care of the likes/followings just have fun… everything will come naturally

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The feed backs that I got (good or bad, lovers or haters)…
The chance to share some interests, and to meet new people…
And of course sometimes some great experiences with brands!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t try to use influencers as a billboard. Make them live a real experience with you thru your brand, the message will be strong and authentic!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Find your own way. Don’t imitate. Don’t look at what others (influencers or not) do. Create your own path. And most of all, try to have fun!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Living new experiences (…but also discovering places, products, people).
