Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Tan Yong Quan @t_yongquan

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Currently, I am serving the nation, in the army now. I come from Singapore.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion is the thing that interest me the most. And also photography and lifestyle.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It’s actually tyongquan at first but then coz one of my idol pronounced it wrongly during his Instagram live that I went to change to t_yongquan afterwards.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I love using Adobe Lightroom the most to edit photos as it’s very convenient and easy to use. Usually I’ll try to make the photos look as natural as possible without adding so much filter to the image.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@jonaskohh. He was the one that sparked my interest in photograph and being an influencer. Really love the style that he has.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

My favourite food places. As food is life. And food makes people happy.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Impacting people’s life? And benefiting people as well. Also, improving my photography skills.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keeping it as basic as possible and appealing at the same time. Also keeping it classy as well. And straightforward too.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Try to have your style in it. To avoid copyrighted issues.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

A long term endorsement for them. And it also shows that you’ve done a good job that they trust you with their products and brands.
