1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a mother of 2 boys, from Selangor. Am a fully work from home mom and a mumpreneur as well. I basically multitask! What am I doing now? Here it goes : apart from the usual housework, looking after my kids, taking care of my family welfare (yes, I manage the finances at home as well). I am also a blogger at www.sebrinahyeo.com on Food, Parenting & Lifestyle niche and most recently into Health & Beauty. I admin several groups on FB such as General Products & Services Review, You And Me (YAM) Group, Mummies Advertising Group, MY Mummies Support Group and I also manage FB Pages for other SME companies (Menang 8 Natural Handmade Soaps, A New Life) plus my own such as Parenting-lah, EzStore (Ur Baby Store) and etc. I also own my own e-store online www.ezstore.my and selling across multiple marketplace such as Lazada, Shopee, Ezbuy and etc. I am a reseller for Philips, Hanil, Hegen, Menang 8, MyHomeLab, Bare Nuhcessities, Chomel and more. Apart from selling, writing, reviewing, attending events etc; I am also a mystery shopper around Klang Valley and will soon be on board on Riding Pink platform as a lady driver. Sounds like alot? I am actually having fun doing what I love doing now!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

To be honest, it was @babyxan in the beginning (a nickname given by my ex boyfriend ages ago). I recently changed it to @sebrinahyeo to resonate with my website and social media channels to represent me in my influencer journey.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Have yet to find any specific favourites. However, most instagrammers are unique & inspiring in their own ways.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

To be able to experience things or products first hand and to share the experience to everyone; As it may be beneficial & useful for someone out there.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Have a clear brief of what you’re expecting to see. Never underestimate or overestimate a particular result. Authenticity is best if the product photos are of our own instead of a professionally taken photo meant for marketing and prints. It’s more believable if it’s actual photos versus marketing photos.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Be yourself, don’t plagiarize and be nice. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it. Even how bad it is, give constructive feedback instead.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It gives me the confidence to trust & understand those brands better and also my readers, friends and families will also come to be aware of that brand through my influence and my reviews.
