Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sophie @thesophiesofar

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I live in Nyrtle Beach South Carolina and attend Coastal Carolina University where I major in graphic design. I love filming and editing videos, and painting too!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Most of my posts consist of my art.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram name was influenced by the band The Story So Far.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use photoshop and illustrator for most of my photos, since I am a graphic designer. Other than that, I use VSCO for the filters!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

As an artist, @lovelucyford inspires me so much. @Jazzersxx inspires me in fashion.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Traveling. always go somewhere new when you get the opportunity.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love that my opinions and the things I do and say could potentially change someone’s life or perspective.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I started my art brand completely by myself. It’s all about dedication and being yourself. Creating new content that people love is a huge part of keeping your brand noticeable.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Your content always needs to be original to maintain authenticity. Especially as an artist. Content is more appealing when it’s original.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love collaborating and being inspired by other people and their success.
