1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My full time job is in healthcare consulting and my hobby job is being a foodstagrammer! I love beautiful, eye appealing food and started capturing the dishes on camera a few years ago. I never thought my food pictures would be so popular and fans would come to me for suggestions of dining options.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Delicious food pics!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I live in Austin and most of my dining adventures are in Austin. Atx, short for Austin, came to my mind and “bites” because as a foodstagrammer, you typically try bites of everything in front of you. Voila, atx_bites!

I love when my followers message me for dining suggestions for a special occasion.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Know your audience and niche. Stay honest, true to your brand and know your followers.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

I know my style and I try to improve it everyday while sticking to my uniqueness and likes. I won’t just post any old pic. It must have the right lighting, eye appeal, and be a dish I would eat myself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love to share the brands I’m passionate about with my family and friends and if I’m sold on something, I can convince anybody. Partnering with brands helps spread the word about the products with my followers and exposes all of us to things we may not know are available.
