1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?
Hey there! I’m from South Jersey and was lucky enough to grow up by the beach. However, I have spent my adult life working and living in and around New York City. I’m currently working as a Social Media Specialist and during my off time, create gluten free recipes for my blog, Thaiandtattoos.com and hang out with my awesome Husband, Scott and 1-year-old son, Hendrix.
2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?
Food, Fitness, Inspirational Quotes and Parenting
3) How did your Instagram name come about?
I have this fun tradition of going out to eat Thai food with friends after I get a new tattoo. The tradition stuck and became the name of my blog and instagram account.
4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!
I keep it pretty simple and stick with instagram for filters, canva for fun layouts, ripl if I’m making a video and a beautiful mess for collages.
5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?
There are SO many that I love to follow. For gluten free food, I like to follow no bread and feed feed gluten free. For fitness and fashion, Hannah Bronfman. Parenting, I’d say Tamera Mowry and for lifestyle and diy, ohjoy.
6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?
My hashbrown nests that are filled with bacon and egg. The recipe is SO easy and is always a crowd pleaser.
7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?
Connecting with everyone! I really love talking to my followers and being inspired by so many fellow bloggers.
8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?
I choose the work with brands that are a true representation of myself and interests. If its not part of my every day, I won’t want to partner. I also believe that partnerships should be collaborative. Give influencers room for creativity — it’s what we do 🙂
9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?
Quality over quantity. At first, I thought I needed to be posting food photos ALL THE TIME, but quickly realized my followers were becoming jaded and uninterested. I cut down to one recipe post a week so that I could focus on making better, more thoughtful content.
10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?
I think its great to bring awareness about incredible products through real experiences.
