Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sean Byrne @byrnephotography

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hello my name is Sean Byrne, I’m a passionate photographer and social media influencer from the UK. I’m married to my beautiful wife Ria and have 2 gorgeous kids.

I have a passion for taking photos of the great outdoors, wether that’s in the UK or around the world.

I’ve been a photographer for over 4 years now. I’m self taught after becoming addicted to photography on Instagram. Now more than 4 years on I have worked for National Geographic, Davidoff Coolwater, Travel Alberta, The London Helicopter Company, Austrian Tourism, Swiss Air, Iceland Air and many more. I’ve also been interviewed in local newspapers and had my work published in national papers as well as photography magazines.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love the great outdoors so anything to do with travel or landscapes is appealing to me the most. I occasionally post product images that can be related to photography. As long as I’m passionate about the brand then it will be shown in my work.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My surname is “Byrne” and I guess sticking “photography” on the end tells you exactly what I do.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Lightroom on my mac to edit all my images then download them to my iPhone 6+. I then use the apps Snapseed & VSCOcam to re-edit my images as they loose a lot of contrast, colour, clairty, detail and depth.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

It’s hard to say which ones as so many inspire me. I do love my friends Instagram account @loveandlife.images as he captures images I struggle to capture myself. But any landscape or outdoor photographers inspire me.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Video’s or Cinemagraphs.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Travelling and seeing the world. I’m in a lucky position where tourism and airlines love my work and want to take me on adventures for them.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

It helps to have a group of Influencers to really make an impact in a campaign. Also influencers will always give you variety and authenticity.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

They give me the option of really expressing myself which pushes me to keep being creative and original.
