Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sasa @sasatravel_official

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a lawyer in Hong Kong!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Travel… biggest passion in life. When I travel I enjoy discovering new places, new people and new points of view in life. And that’s why I post travel posts the most on Instagram!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

So Sasa is my internet name, and official because there are many similar names out there… so tada! Sasatravel_official is born.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Snapseed, Lightroom and Meitu. Snapseed for the brush tool where I can easily edit a selected part of the photo, Lightroom for when I want to tune a particular colour, and Meitu for the filters!

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

@Ofleatherandlace is a big inspiration to me. She shows me that when you take something very seriously, you can really up your game and be a huge influence.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try learning something new this year!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I got to try many new things after I started being an influencer. For example, I got to try out many new restaurants which I normally will not go to (I usually stick to a list of restaurants that I always go to).

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Give some space for creativity to the influencers. Instead of asking every influencer to post the same content, let them showcase their creative side. You can always review and approve their content to make sure the feeds match with your brands.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

To be an influencer itself means that you should create something original to influence other people! If you just copy and paste, you’re just a copycat!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Cross-selling – I help to sell the products/services of the partnered brands, and at the same time the brands will bring out some value that we share together.
