1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a blogger from Cape Town, South Africa. My blog focuses on health and beauty/fashion, and anything else that inspires me to be creative.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

beauty, health recipes, lifestyle and fashion.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I wanted something simple that people would remember, Heysarahjeanne just seemed like the right fit. I feel its cute and welcoming.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use VSCO cam every now and then. But honestly I like my photos to be clear and as natural as possible. So I usually just brighten them up and take down a saturation a little.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Instagram is where I draw almost all my inspiration from, some of my favourite accounts include @jasminedowling and @wishwishwish. Both accounts are so different in style but if I could aspire to be even a little like these woman I would be thrilled.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Probably to try be more present and take snaps of your daily life and happenings. Its easy to take pretty photos but its great to see the personal touch too. I definitely I know I should be doing this more.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I wouldn’t exactly call myself an influencer! Although I would love to be one day. But the one thing I would say that is very satisfying is connecting with like minded people and inspiring creativity.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Be yourself and be honest.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It seems everyone has something to say on every topic out there. My advice would be that once you’ve found your niche keep it honest and again be yourself. People want to connect with real people that have real things to say.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Being able to help each other out and support and grow together.
