Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sapphire Needham @saffyneedham

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a fashion enthusiast, I do fashion photography / filmmaking. I have a passion for all things film & music. I’m currently on a gap year and will be doing a fashion photography degree in september. I come from Brighton and I love it here as everyones style is so versatile and fun!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love posting different style posts, I post a lot of outfits of the day and I love viewing other peoples style. My topic of interest is mainly fashion.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My instagram started as a personal account but eventually grew into an account where I post all things fashion, advertising my blog but also sneaking in the occasional personal life snaps and self love posts.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I only use one app and it’s my go to photo editing app and that’s vscocam, I love having a de saturated and cool temperature look.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I don’t really have any main influencers on instagram, I kinda just get inspired by movies or my own imagination, although I am in love with amanda steeles style and everything about her is goals!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I dont know if this is the right subject matter your talking about but people have got to try ‘ Freakshakes’ they’re insane and so yummy. Its basically a dessert/ milkshake in one, who could say no to that!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Knowing that people are influenced by your style, I find it such a confidence boost and I just feel all giddy when people want to try out a style that I have done, I also just love chatting to people about fashion in general and giving advice etc!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always be friendly and reply promptly, stay true to your brands morals and expectations. Dont be afraid to contact people directly and allow people to write honest reviews rather than forcing people to only write a positive review, I often find that off putting when brands mention that!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always write your honest opinion, I only work with brands I feel could potentially have things that match my style or something I would like to try. You’re not gonna enjoy writing for a brand if you don’t agree with what they sell, so definitely stay original to yourself!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love trying new things, I get so excited by that. I also love being able to collaborate with brands and its always such a fun experience and its nice hearing they’re lovely feedback on what you have produced.
