Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sabrina Sona @useradventure

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Nice to meet you! I’m Sabrina Sona, creator of the Sona Universe, the Gamification space for fan and artist co-creation and engagement. I help creators and artists to reach their fans and to create long-lasting relationships with the power of Gamification and Behavioural Science. I’m originally from Switzerland, but have been living as a Digital Nomad over the last few years, travelling through Africa, Europe and Asia.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post about my adventures around the world, my daily experience as an artist of many things, all things nature and my journey to self-love with the power of music

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

User Adventure is about the exciting journey as a user of anything I build. When I help people create experiences for their users I want them to feel like they are on a big adventure, not doing some administrative tasks like most of us live like. I think that Life is a Game and we just need to learn how to play it!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use Adobe Lightroom. I have it installed on my phone and on my computer but mostly, I like editing them on the computer as I can see more details. I like to create a little bit more contrast and saturation in my pictures, as I’d like to reflect the excitement in the colours and intensify the visuals based on the story I wanna tell. I specifically like to choose colourful scenes when I take my pictures that can tell a story. When I edit my videos for stories, I usually use Snow for filming and InShot for editing them. I like their filters and possibilities to edit multiple videos with some great music.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love my friend Leila Pari’s instagram, she’s a very colourful, bright and talented person and I love how she shares her life and learnings as a singer and songwriter.

6) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I wouldn’t call myself an influencer, but what I like about having a voice online is that I can help people all around the world, disregarding their gender, nationality, background and possible struggles they are facing.

7) What’s your favorite part about StarNgage? Any exciting campaigns that you have joined through StarNgage before?

I haven’t joined any campaigns yet but please let me know if you have anything fitting! I think it’s a great opportunity to connect brands with ambassadors and help each other by building long-lasting connections.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

1. Relatablilty: It’s kind of like songwriting, if your brand has a genuine personality and culture and is sharing about the things they stand for it will enable people to feel connected to their story. 2. Creativity: Be creative with the content you’re creating and involve your users, this will also increase their feeling of ownership towards your brand. You can for example create a competition for users to send in their ideas for a new product line and first price is to have their ideas executed. 3. Create Curiosity: Don’t post the same thing over and over again. Make people curious about what’s gonna come next, create teasers, talk about it in some lives, give them hints and riddles to solve… they are more clever than you might think.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Perfect is the enemy of good. Get yourself out there, create relatable content first, and with repetition, you will learn how to increase the quality of it. Creativity and originality come out of context. If you have a proper brand strategy, culture, personality, and story, it will enable you to create original content.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love collaborating with brands to help them create their own worlds, their unique universe where they create content that reflects their brand in the most engaging way possible. I love seeing these worlds come alive!
