Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rosi Ross @rosiross

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am half Venezuelan, half Panamanian entrepreneur. I have been living 4 years already in China and now I’m new in hong kong. I love coffee, traveling and good aesthetics. As a KOL I like to deliver substance and talk about things only a few people talk about.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Lifestyle, Empowerment, Style and Business Mindset. Mindset is everything.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I was modeling in San Francisco in 2008 and one photographer asked me about my nickname, I said my real name and he was like “that’s f*king long, I will call you rosi ross, like rick ross but more awesome” since then I have called myself rosiross. that name defines me better.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I try not to use editing apps. But If I need to do so I use the photoshop app on the phone and Adobe Photoshop. 85% of my pictures are none photoshop thou.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

ugh my god! *laughs* @victoriabeckham she’s so classy and natural in every way possible. Also @verniecenciso I love their color and how they describe their stories and about brands @tigermist and @voguekorea content and aesthetics together. my favorite.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Posting failures, none edited pictures and getting in touch with reality more often.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Delivering a message that can bring people to THINK. No matter if you are thinking about yourself, your life, your money, your body, your business, your next move, your next trip. I strive to make people do a critical thought about themselves.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

First, connect with brands that match your core, if a brand doesn’t match your values the work is not going to be as good as it can be. Second, make people feel part of what you are doing and how you do it. And last, be consistent and deliver with criteria. I maintain authenticity by being myself no matter what.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Read, read a lot. Be well informed about what you are writing, saying, editing. There is nothing worse than someone else destroying your work. If you are educated about your topic -no matter if you talk about food, manga, cosplay, sex, music, whatever- you will always be on top and you will always be ahead.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

every-f****-thing! It’s always fun to work and to discover what they want, what they need and put creativity out there to help them to reach their needs. I feel is important most of all understand a brand first, get to know why they are doing this campaign and how can this improve peoples lifestyle to the best. Then help them to reach that. Is amazing.
