Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Madhavi Yadav @iamnmbr1

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m working as a content developer in the education industry. Like most youngster I had no idea what was my calling, I kept experimenting until I settled down and started loving creating content around things that I loved. I belong to a super small town in India.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am passionate about reading. I began as a bookstagrammer. Apart from books, I like to post about fashion and lifestyle.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

As a kid, I had a T-shirt which has I’m#1 written on it. I loved that Tee. Even before coming to Instagram I knew this was gonna be my Instagram identity.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

My favorite app for editing in Lightroom. It gives a unique aesthetic to each picture and I get to experiment a lot. As I have a full-time job, my photoshoots are done on Sunday, and I click the bookstagram pictures at night. Then I edit the photos one day in bulk so I have some content to post for the whole week.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

My favorite Bookstagrammer is @khubaibliophile, I love how amazing his feed is. And in fashion and lifestyle, I like @komalpandey

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think one thing everybody needs to try is Authenticity. In order to grow and become like someone else people try to copy others and lose what they are capable of doing on their own.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love the fact that apart from the daily routine and normal life, I have something where I can be myself, I can express myself the way i want as an influencer and people love me for that.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

The brands try to capture the influencer with a huge following, I want them to realize that small influencer has a wider reach as their followers are more authentic and more targetted. I try to engage with the people who have some interest as me and produce what I feel comes from within.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Talking about the quality of content I think every person should focus on the things they like, when your content is closer to your heart you can always do better. And once you’re producing content which is closer to your heart it will definitely be original for sure. To make it better we should practice writing and clicking photographs from different angles.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It gives me a chance to grow as an individual and I get to create different content.
