Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rosanne Bonthuis @rosannebonthuis

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

So, my name is Rosanne and I’m 19 years old. I’m from Groningen, The Netherlands. I’m a communication student and started Instagram and blogging about 5 months ago. The reason I started this is because I realized I absolutely love fashion and I really want to make my profession out of it.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Besides fashion I’m also interested in beauty and lifestyle. On Instagram I post most about fashion and on my blog about all of the topics above. Also traveling, which I unfortunately don’t do as much as I would like to do because I’m only a student and don’t have the money to travel all the time.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name is actually just my first and last name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

The apps I use to edit my photo’s are VSCO, PicsArt and I also use photoshop.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

The Instagrammers who inspire me the most are Negin Mirsalehi, Iva Nikolina and Kenza Zouiten.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

The one thing my fellow Instagrammers should try is to don’t be afraid to chase their dreams. For me it took way to long to start this because I was too afraid of what other people would think. But don’t be! just do what you want to do no matter what other people will think about you.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

What I absolutely love about being an influencer is inspire other girls. I don’t want them to wear what I wear or do what I do but I want them to be who they are and I hope that one day they will all show to the world who they are. And I get the sweetest compliments of all those girls, which really gives me so much energy.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

To maintain authenticity I think you should think out of the box. Don’t follow but create. Be different and dare to be different. I do realize that is a very hard thing these days because there are already so many ideas and different things in this world. And of course sometimes you have to follow or even copy if that’s what people want. But the best thing in my eyes is trying to find a middle in all of that.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality and original content is very important. But just as much important is having interaction with people.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The best about partnering with brands is putting two ore more ideas together in one picture, blog or video. You create thing together that you wouldn’t create on your own.
