Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Ines Boulous @Thefrenchiefrie

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Ines Boulous, I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Biarritz, France. I have spent the last 3 years in London, an inspirational city full of life and people from all walks of life. I grew up in an very creative environment and been surrounded by artists of all kinds. my mother is a painter, my sister on her way to be a fashion designer and I am a Photographer (worked for music festival, published in international and national magazines, and 2 exhibitions). I currently work in a home and decoration shop but photography is my passion before my job.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topic of interests are photography, nature, people, music, concert, surf, travel. I would say my Instagram is a mix of all I’m interested in. A mix of landscape from where I’m from or my travels, with the last giggs I went to and some precious moment with the people I love. I like as well to put some humor to keep my followers interacting.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

TheFrenchieFrie come from my Brazilians flatmates in London that kept on calling me like that all the time so it stayed and I found it funny as well for an instagram name. I think it’s a good one and people remember it easily.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

So i always use 2 apps the first one is VSCO Cam and the second one to put the frame and finish is Afterlight. I don’t use anything else.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I don’t have an instagrammer I like more than the others most of the people I follow are my friends or brands or surfers. For the picture style I’m inspired by my friend and photographer Sarah Balhadere.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would say they have to go get a gin and tonic from the Beach House in Anglet, France, with the Captain Mathieu on his boat. Basically it’s bar, open in summer, made in a boat that is staying in the sand and in it you have everything to make the perfect gin and tonic even the fresh herbs growing on the back side of the boat

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is to make people see things from another eye or discover things that they would have not thought about or not known (product, music, brands, people). I just like to share my motto is “sharing is caring” so the more I share the best I feel.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I would say to really choose the right person for the right product because they will know exactly how to present it without you telling them and the followers would be for sure interested in the brand. It’s nice to have a brand that everyone buy but if you want to make the difference you have to select the best people to represent it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Quality because I’m not posting random things on instagram, I know the main hours to post to get the most visibility as well and I’m not putting more than one picture a day. So everyone can pay more attention to it! And original because I always try to keep some humor in every of my posts and to use different filters to make it looks interesting.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The fact that everyone is winning something at the end. It’s a full exchange i post, you get followers and then you repost and I get your followers. The aim is to see an interesting point on doing it. A real enthusiasm and consideration.
