Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rishaan Oodeen @Rishaan7

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am currently a high school senior in NJ. I moved a round a lot as kid. I was originally born in Guyana which is a Caribbean country located in South America. I came to the States when I was around six years old. I am currently just living life and sharing my life via my instagram page.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My topics of interests are nature, photography, anything artsy and travel. I tend to post a lot of selfies and artsy nature filled photos on my page.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

It came from my name Rishaan and one of my favorite numbers 7.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Some apps I use to edit my photos include, Aviary and InstaSize.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I do not look up to any instagrammers in particular. I believe that one should not follow in others footsteps but instead make a path of their own.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

One thing fellow instagrammers just have to try would have to be to just go out and explore the world and the many mysteries it has to offer.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

My favorite part of being an influencer is that I am able to present to society my works art without being judged for it.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Some of my top tips for brands running for campaigns are to be you and to present the item or thing with excitement. I maintain authenticity by just being myself.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

My advice would be to just be yourself like I said before and to also be creative with the content. At the end of the day, no one wants to see similar posts on their feeds. Every post should be captivating in its own way.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love the fact that I can be able to model their products and feel a great sense of joy. I also love that I get to try their products up close and get a feel for it rather than just posting a photo of it.
