Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Rachell Ng @aglimpseofrach

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m currently studying in SMU, doing a business degree. (: Singapore.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion mostly. I love dressing up! Other than that, I like showing my loved ones on my Instagram page too from time to time.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Hmmm. It used to be aglimpseofpink because I love pink (still do). But I soon grew out of that name and decided aglimpseofrach sounds good too because it was exactly what my Instagram account is, a glimpse of me! (:

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

VSCO, thats pretty much it hahah.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Dreachong!!! Love her feed, her boldness and versatility in fashion.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Hmmm, maybe a fashion item? Pazzo pants (: super chic and comfy!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Having an excuse to take more pretty photos HEHEE. I think it’s just really fun to content create and to work with different brands/shops! At least when you’re working with brands and shops you don’t only want to make yourself look good (everyone does on Instagram ya) but also to make their products look good too!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Wow, in no place to give advice but I guess just be really authentic and responsible with who they decide to work with and everything! I know a few instances where the brand promises payments etc but they end up not following up and the influencers themselves have to push for it and everything, doesn’t reflect well! I think passion is important when it comes to authenticity!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Put some thought into it!!!

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like thinking about how my content can be made relevant! Yes, of course, the free stuff, but I find it extra rewarding to be able to share products/services with everyone.
