1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m a wife, a dog mom, trying to be a human mom. Lover of food and wine and health. I’ve lived all over and am trying to find peace with living in one place, living in the now.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I post about food, life, love; it’s important to me to find the beauty in my every day life.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I had a YouTube channel about 10 years ago and used a random username generator to create “CaptainFunLaugh” and it has stuck with me ever since then.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Anything from Instagram filters to instasize, photoshop and VSCO. I love playing with color and light and feeling like I’m a part of creating something that’s almost art.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Shaym and anyone from The Bachelor / The Bachelorette. They are Instagram #goals.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Facebook messenger filters, they’re the new Snapchat!!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

The community that I get to connect with, the new people I get to meet, all the experiences I never would have had before.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I run a lifestyle Instagram/blog so I’m not going to post things that have no interest to me, and yet some brands don’t seem to get it, or care. Find the people that will attract an audience that will be long lasting, not click bait from a popular influencer that leads to nothing more than browsing.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

It’s like wearing the same outfit as someone else. You are less likely to do that if you’re staying 100% true to who you are! Just trust the creative side to lead you to great content that will also keep the brand happy.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Getting to share products I genuinely care about with people who have come to trust me and will give me their 100% honest feedback.
