Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Praise Ilamosi Abu @_ilamosi_

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Ilamosi, a personal style blogger. I’m an evolving creative and a content creator. I started blogging early this year(April) and trust me a whole lot has changed for me. I have been privileged to work with a few brands and collaborate with fellow bloggers. The fashion industry has so many opportunities which i look forward to harnessing.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion and inspiration. I share a lot of my personal style and also inspirational quotes. I like to inspire my followers and more.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My second name, i wanted something personal and something that would represent my brand as an individual. I figured using my name would be a lot better.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

Vsco, Afterlight and Snapseed. These are my favourite.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

t2pitchy (Grace Alex), Asiyami Gold, Cassie Daves. Grace Alex feed is so clean and very inspiring which is something i look out for. Did i also mention very atheistically pleasing.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Networking more. The importance of networking is usually understated. It is very important to reach out more.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I guess knowing that your opinion matters. One of the favorite part of being an Influencer is the recognition that comes with the role.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Keying into diversity and trying to optimize each potentials. Basically what I’m trying to say is that they should think outside the box and try to do things differently from the rest.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Consistency and enough research. These two things are very important, extensive research is very important plus consistency is king.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

New lessons and new experiences. I always look forward to learning new things, each partnership is different and there is always something new to be learned plus new experiences to share.
