1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I’m Patty Pavia, 23 years living in the Philippines. I work my day job as a Publishing Specialist 5 days a week. During weekends or whenever I’m free, I’m on my laptop writing personal stuff or if feeling productive, I photograph beauty products and write reviews. I like editing photos and I’m active on Instagram. But being active doesn’t mean, I post every single day. I choose what I post and very particular when it comes to the whole aesthetic vibe of my Instagram feed.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I’m interest in beauty and fashion stuff. I do flatlays of beauty products. On my instagram, you’ll also see travel-related photos. I like sharing my travel adventures and sharing the beauty of each place I’ve visited.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I want it to be simple. That’s why I just use my name as my Instagram name. In that way it would also be easier for people to search me on Instagram.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I just use my phone when editing photos. I particularly use Lightroom, Snapseed and sometimes VSCO. I also use other editing apps if I’m going for a different vibe like if I want to apply light leaks or grains. I usually start with lightroom to adjust the colors and then on Snapseed to do other adjustments in the photo’s composition.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really like Sonya Esman. She’s very good at editing photos and she’s very classy as well.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I think, they should not be shy from interacting with other Instagrammers. Engaging plays a big part if you want people to know you.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I like sharing the good stuff with my followers. I like the ide of collaborating with brands to help spread their message on how their products could be useful to everyone.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Brands should allow influencers to have their own voice because at the end of the day it is important to remain authentic as an influencer. If readers know that your trustworthy, they’ll most likely follow the brand you’re promoting too.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Always be creative and never stop challenging yourself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I like knowing the brand and if they’re helpful enough, I would most likely share it with my followers. I’m happy that brands consider partney with influencers nowadays because through this connection, they would be able to reach everyone.
