Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Olivia Balogun @livia_samuels

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Am from Ondo state Nigeria and have lived mostly in Portharcourt, am the last of 5 children. Am a model and a graduate of accounting from the university of Portharcourt, waiting on service this January.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My interest is in lifestyle, fashion, modelling n life events generally that go on each day. My post comprises of them all

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Well, Livia is same as Olivia shortened, and Samuels is my Dad’s first name.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I prefer not to use Filters cause if your beautiful and the picture is perfect then there’s really no need, only photogrid if i have 2 or more pictures i really like i put them all in a grid instead of posting them differently. I feel its much better n prevents boredom for my followers.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I follow really good photographers nwho take amazing pictures like @felixcrown, @spotlightiimagery @abusalamiphotography n models like @kendeljenner n @angellaphilips @moreyfaith, the list is a really long one.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Try doing something that makes them uncomfortable n they had discover the joy that comes from it.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love seeing people emulate my fashion, picture poses and lifestyle. It gives so much satisfaction.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Well social media creates the largest audience as people n interested parties over the world get to see what major brands got trending. The key thing to being relevant is creating your own trend n evolving with it.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Yea am a really big fan of originality and there’s nothing better than quality content. You got to find out your own brand n create something better out of it, nobody likes a copy cat.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It’s a really good feeling to be associated with a really good brand. My goal is to be a brand ambassador for the best brands.
